BIO
Ross Kinney has held a variety of roles in the creative world, including performer, producer, organizer, writer, director, and administrator. He grew up in Woodstock, New Brunswick, a town of grassroots organizations and arts enthusiasts who made it a priority to enrich the community and provide creative opportunities. Ross continues this tradition as an organizer of the Dooryard Arts Festival in his hometown.
Currently, he is studying photography and videography at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design, gaining experience in creative and commercial work as well as darkroom and analogue techniques. With an academic background in philosophy and the liberal arts, he finds the combination of aesthetics, the history of visual arts, and the techniques of photography and composition to be a fascinating blend of theory and practice.
In his own time, Ross enjoys a good mix of sports, card games, books, and campfires. He lives with his wife and their cat in downtown Fredericton.
